I have facilitated and designed online, blended, and face-to-face instruction since 2002. I currently create and facilitate fully online courses that combine synchronous and asynchronous delivery methods.

Winter 2019
Assessment for Adult Learning in Digital Contexts (AEDT 4110). Although I intended to give this course a thorough revision, only a few videos were updated, in addition to the assessment. I kept the two PBL assignments and added few others, such as the peer skills mini-presentations, giving learners the opportunity to teach other new assessment skills and learn how to provide actionable feedback.
Instructional Design (AEDT 4140). Last year’s major revision went very well, but I’ve ironed out a few small glitches.
Fall 2018
Information Literacy (AEDT 3110). I’m currently revising this course. The weekly topics will remain the same, and a few assignments, but I’m hoping to update at least 3/4 of the videos by the fall.
Workplace Learning (AEDT 3120). I’ve updated a third of the videos, the reading list, and adjusted the final assignment.
Winter 2018
Assessment for Adult Learning in Digital Contexts (AEDT 4110). I really enjoy the course content and he pace of the course. This will likely be the last time this version of the course is offered. It’s beginning to feel dated even though I’ve updated all the readings.
Instructional Design (AEDT 4140). I revised the course over the Christmas break and created a project-based course and not a problem-based learning course.
Fall 2017
Information Literacy (AEDT 3110). I was given this course at the last minute. I had a chance to revise the reading list, but the assignments and videos all need updating.
Workplace Learning (AEDT 3120). I re-shot a 1/3 of the videos and slightly revised two assignments that weren’t working as well as they should have. I’m starting to create shorter videos so revision is easier.
Winer 2017
Assessment for Adult Learning in Digital Contexts (AEDT 4110). This course was wonderfully constructed by the previous instructor. The problem-based learning assignments were so much fun for the learners and myself.
Instructional Design (AEDT 4140). Unfortunately I didn’t have time to update the course prior to the beginning of the semester. Only the reading list was updated.
Fall 2016
Foundations of Digital Teaching and Learning Technologies (AEDT 1120). I shot about six videos for the course that were just updates from the previous year. I discovered I don’t like facilitating courses using other educator’s videos.
Workplace Learning (AEDT 3120). All vidoes have been revised from the first time I delivered the course in 2014.
Fall 2015
Workplace Learning (AEDT 3120). I love the 50 minute weekly tutorials. I use the socratic method to keep the learner-centred discussion going. I shot more videos for the course so 2/3 of the course was updated by the end of the semester. I also updated the course rubrics.
Fall 2014
Workplace Learning (AEDT 3120). This course, like others in the AEDT program, is founded on problem-based learning. I shot about 20 videos for the course while teaching it. Lesson learnt: shoot the videos before the course

Spring/summer 2014
Interactive and Multimedia Learning (EDCI 337) Delivered online. All course material was supplied for me, but the course was designed to be completed in 14 weeks and not as a condensed course. It took at lot of adjusting to ensure learners could complete all the work within the seven week timeframe.
Fall 2013
Distributed and Open Learning (EDCI 339) Delivered online and blended. This was the first course I delivered in a blended format. The challenge was aligning the blended course materials with with course that was simultaneously delivered online.
